Vine Street Brewing Co. Brings Back the Iconic HipHop and Hot Wings Event
Kansas City, MO – Vine Street Brewing Co., in a spirited collaboration with DJ Skeme and Timeless Refinery, is excited to announce the triumphant return of the legendary Hip-Hop and Hot Wings event this summer. WingStand joins the revival, serving up their delectable wings alongside Vine Street's craft beers, rekindling the cultural spark of Kansas City's hip-hop community.

DJ Skeme, a Kansas City music scene visionary, remarked, "There hasn't been an event like this in nearly two decades that's brought our community together to celebrate the full essence of hip-hop culture. After reminiscing about this legendary night with old attendees, I decided to stop longing for the past and instead, recreate that community bond."
Kemet Coleman, co-founder of Vine Street Brewing Co. and a key figure in the local music scene, shared, "Hip-Hop and Hot Wings was one of my first immersions into the Kansas City music scene. Our dream at Vine Street is to enhance the city's cultural identity through our brand. By brewing craft beers and experiences steeped in jazz and hip hop, we aim to nurture the next wave of musical culture, deeply rooted in the rich soil of the 18th & Vine district."
Trenton Warner of Timeless Refinery added, "At Timeless, we’re proud to support local culture and community events like Hip-Hop and Hot Wings. Gatherings like these, where creativity, flavor, and community spirit are celebrated, truly bring us together."
The inaugural event spotlights Latin American appreciation, celebrating the Latinx community's influence in hip-hop with a panel discussion featuring prominent figures, including DJs and MCs, after a set by DJ FK Menace. With a Star Wars costume competition to boot, the event promises a night of unity, rhythm, and unforgettable flavors.

Building on the legacy of The Peanut's legendary wings, WingStand will offer a wide selection of sauces and veggie options, ensuring all attendees can indulge in the festivities.
